This design document provides details of the custom off-grid solar power system we installed on our Winnebago Class A motorhome. The system has been working flawlessly for several years (from Alaska to the tip of Baja Mexico) and gives us the freedom to travel off-grid indefinitely.
This design can easily be adapted and modified for your 50 amp trailer or motorhome. Many have copied this system for their own RV and you can too.
This system includes 1,740 watts of solar, 810 Amp Hours of Lithium Batteries, a 3000VA Victron power inverter, and full Victron remote power management and monitoring capability.
