Heading into the Rockies

On the road and heading east towards Denver. Kids are plugged into their electronic devices and missing out on the scenery....as usual. We've been hovering around an elevation of 5000 ft for the past few days and have become acclimated to it. Gonna reach an elevation of around 11000 ft as we pass through the mountains. Duece and the gang hit the road today looking forward to their posts from the road.

  1. Might need oxygen at that level... I'll bet you will feel the loss of power in your rig when you get up there. Have a safe and fun day -D

    P.S. We hit the road in the morning so watch for blogs starting tomorrow from Yachatts, Oregon that is if I have WIFI, not sure about service there. We will be there two nights and then we head to Coos Bay on Monday where I will have WIFI for sure. Later...

  2. Yes the altitude dropped me down to as low as 35MPH on the worst incline. Nevertheless, we made it.

    Hope you guys have a great trip. We'll look forward to checking your blog. Glad to hear the shoulder's feeling better.
